PURPOSE:To improve the sealing performance between a filter case and a filter element and the cleaning degree of a washing liquid, by providing a specified pressing device pressing a basket and a filter element against a gasket. CONSTITUTION:The pressing device 20 provided with such a construction that a hollow part 23 is stood at the center part of a frame of ring shape through arms 22, 22,... and one end of a spring 25 is fixed in the hollow post 23 and the other end is protruded from the upper end of the post. Consequently, when the ring frame of the press device 20 is engaged with protruding parts 13, 13' of the basket 3 and the filter element 5 and a cap 6 is fixed to the filter case 2, flanges 12, 12' of the basket 3 and the filter element 5 are brought into contact with a stopping piece 11 with the gasket 15 between. As a result, the sealing performance between the filter case 2 and the filter element 5 and the cleaning degree of the washing liquid are improved.
