PURPOSE:To obtain a solid fuel intended to resolve the waste disposal problems for flammable garbage and also environmental problems and to recycle said garbage as a fuel, by dehydrating and drying flammable garbage followed by grinding or cutting, the resulting product being stiffened by pressing followed by compression on heating to sinter the surface. CONSTITUTION:Flammable garbage including paper, fiber, and plant wastes such as vegetable refuse, flowery plant, leaves and twigs is dehydrated and dried to bring the water content to pref. <=18wt% followed by grinding or cutting to a size pref. <=3mm. Thence, the resulting ground product is incorporated, if needed, with powdered coal, lime and/or aluminum powder followed by stiffening the blend by pressing into an appropriate solid form, which is them compressed on heating to sinter the surface, thus obtaining the objective solid fuel of god form stability.
