PURPOSE:To transmit a transmission buffer data in a modem without putting excessive load on a CPU, by providing interruption lines between a detector which detects a control signal from the CPU and a switch turned ON/OFF by the output of the detector, and between the main body of the modem and the CPU, in a data transmission equipment. CONSTITUTION:A control device 1 writes a data on a register 2 in the modem 9. The detector 5 turns ON the switch 6 by the control signal from the control device 1, and reads out the data stored in the register 2 at a memory device 3-1 in a memory device 3, and writes it on the 3-1. Similarly, the data are written successively to the memory device 3-n. Next, the switch 7 is turned ON by the control signal from the control device 1 via the detector 5, and the data of the 3-1 in the memory device 3 is read out by the main body 4 of the modem, and is outputted to the outside. On completing the output of all of the data, the completion of transmission is informed from the main body 4 of the modem to the control device 1 via the interruption line 8. By repeating the above operation to the data of the memory device 3-n, the load on the CPU can be reduced remarkably.
