PURPOSE:To use a terminal device interface having a monitor input circuit in common by making the state change of a terminal equipment inputted to the monitor input circuit correspondent to any of monitor information reserved in advance by setting the monitor input changeover section. CONSTITUTION:A device control section 8 receives a start/stop command signal from a communication control section 6 to start/stop a terminal equipment via a control output circuit 9 and the state of the terminal equipment is inputted from a monitor input circuit 10 and a monitor signal is outputted to a monitor changeover section 11 when the state is changed. The monitor changeover section 11, in receiving a monitor signal, selects any of the monitor information preserved by setting and outputs it to a communication control section 6. Since the state change inputted to the monitor input circuit 10 is outputted as any of the preserved monitor information by setting the monitor input changeover section 11, one monitor input circuit corresponds to plural monitor information.
