Compsn. comprises a mixt. of a diene-based liquid prepolymer having a functionality of 2 to 3 pref. and a polyfunctional coupling agent which cross-links the prepolymer to form a continuous, adherent, resistant film. This compn. cont. >50%, pref. >70% solids forming resin film and can be applied in a single operation to form a film up to 0.75 mm thick. The film is easily removable when necessary. These compns. have the advantages of forming adherent, abrasion resistant, chemicals-resistant and removable films on metal surfaces and can be used for ornamental metal work etc. Small quantities of solvent are also used. |
