MANUFACTURE OF ENCLOSED TYPE LEAD STORAGE BATTERY

PURPOSE:To improve reliability of sealing of a terminal drawing part as well as to enable a battery jar to be formed without a forming die by making a bag body using a synthetic resin film or seat as the battery jar, and welding an opening circumference of the bag body to a cap. CONSTITUTION:One side end is sealed 9 and is made to an envelope state after a film or sheet made of a synthetic resin is back-sealed in a bag body 8 housing a plate group 6. The plate group 6 is housed in the bag body 8, and inserted until an opening part of the bag body 8 reaches to a joggling part 12 of a cap 1. After positioning is made, pressure is applied by thermal blade mold by a heater heating from a film or sheet surface, a resin in the film or sheet inside surface and the cap 1 surface are melted, and thereby thermowelded.
