PURPOSE:To improve a gas sealing property between a cell body side and a manifold by performing blast processing on the contact part between the metal member of the cell body side face and a sealing material of the flange part of the manifold. CONSTITUTION:Blast processing is performed on the contact part 1' of a member made of stainless steel on the side face of a cell body 1 with a sealing material 4 and on a contact part 5' of the flange part 5a of a manifold 5 made of stainless steel with the sealing material 4. And indexes of the surface roughness of the metal member on the side face of the cell body 1 and the flange part of the manifold, where blast processing is performed, are made 30mum or more. Thereby, when the low melting point glass of the sealing material is softened at an operating time, moisture on the contact part of the low melting point glass is improved so that a gas sealing property can be improved. |
