PURPOSE:To facilitate precise measurement of a pulse signal by generating a frame pulse which accords with the cycle of an input pulse signal, by giving a polar- coordinate indication to the time difference between the frame pulse and the input pulse signal, and by giving delay control also to the frame pulse. CONSTITUTION:The frame pulse b is generated by a high-stability synthesizer 4. Each pulse a1... of a pulse signal a and each pulse b1 of the frame pulse b have a fixed time difference x between them. When X and Y of an indication unit 10 are swept by sweeping signals f and g made on the basis of such frame pulse b and intensity modulation is conducted by the pulse signal a, a figure wherein each pulse a1... of the pulse signal a is expressed by a point in each of the frame intervals y1... of the frame pulse b corresponding thereto is drawn in the indication unit 10. By such a constitution, the repetition frequency, etc. of the input pulse signal P can be measured with high precision and with ease. Since the time difference x between the pulse signal a controlling the frame pulse b and the frame pulse b can be changed arbitrarily by a delay control circuit 7, the measurement can be made further simple. |
