PURPOSE:To set up a continuous flushing process for plates to aim at a full automation of manufacture of plates, by carrying out the flushing process per step of acid concentration in shower water while a jig for holding/ accommodating a plurality of plates at a constant interval is being shifted inside a tunnel-like flushing camber. CONSTITUTION:Negative/positive electrodes are subjected to proscribed formation by electrification in their postures to be inserted alternately into a jig 5, before being placed on a transport conveyer 6. Then, the negative/positive plates 1, 2 are flushed by water rushing out of a nozzle 7 provided on a shower tube 8, while the jig 5 being shifted, and the water containing acid enters a bath 10. Thereafter, shower water 9 is fed again to the shower tube 8 to be put in circulating flow. The plates staying inside the jig 5 are flushed successively by water 9'-9''' in the similar way, while being shifted, thus the prescribed process of flushing may be completed. Meanwhile, the acid concentration in shower water 9 is high in the inifial step of flushing and successively lowered in order of shower water 9'-9'''. |
