PURPOSE:To uniformize a color balance and to eliminate a color phase shift during regeneration of a color image by selectively mixing a phosphor stripe with a phosphor which has color emission dissimilar to that of a phosphor stripe wherein a second index phosphor is mixed. CONSTITUTION:While a fixed amount of blue luminous phosphor alphaB is mixed with a phosphor stripe R so as to form a phosphor stripe (R+alphaB) in a phosphor film 10, a fixed amount of red luminous phosphor alphaR is mixed with the phosphor stripe B so as to a phosphor stripe (B+alphaR). The respective amounts of phosphors alphaB and alphaR mixed in these stripes R and B are regulated so that blue and red luminous amounts during regeneration of red and blue images are nearly similar to the luminous amount of green luminous amount in a phosphor stripe (G+Gi). Even if regenerated red images during regeneration of color images are uneven on portions (I) and (II) corresponding to the stripes (B+alphaR) and (G+Gi), the blue luminous amount wholly rises to uniformalize a color balance since the phosphor B exists mixedly in the stripe (R+alphaB).
