PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a breakdown in a butt part in the vicinity of a magnetic gap, even if an external force by cutting is applied, by filling a part of a joining groove and a winding groove with glass, and joining core half body block to one body. CONSTITUTION:Plural non-magnetic substrates 30 on which a multi-layer film 33 has been formed are laminated successively and joined, and thereafter, cut to a strip-shaped core half body block 37. A cutting plane of this core half body block 37 is used as a butt surface 38, a mold groove 39 is formed on the non-magnetic substrate 30 exposed to this surface 38, and low melting point glass 40 is molded to this groove 39. A part of a joining groove and a winding groove 41 is filled with the same glass as the low melting point glass 40, and by joining both core half body blocks 37a, 37b to one body, a core block 46 is obtained. This core block 46 is cut along a cutting line 47 passing through the mold groove 39, and a magnetic core body 48 is obtained. In such a way, it does not occur that a breakdown is generated in a part of a joined part of the butt surface 38 for constituting a magnetic gap 49.
