PURPOSE:To surely detect finish of a recorded by latching a detecting signal obtained by a level comparison of an RF reproducing signal from a rotary magnetic disk to a latching circuit and deciding whether a recording signal exists or not by reading this latch signal by a system controller. CONSTITUTION:A latching circuit 14 is provided to the post-stage of a level comparing circuit 13, and reading a latch output of this latching circuit 14 by a system controller 9 to decide whether recording exists or not. The system controller 9 reads out a signal of the latching circuit 14, and thereafter, resets the latching circuit 14 by a head moving signal. In such a way, whether recording from a rotary magnetic disk in which a video signal and data recording or an unerased data are mixed exists or not can be detected without an error. |
