PURPOSE:To improve storage stability in a color forming state, by blending a photochromic photosensitive compsn. contg. a benzindolino-thiopyran spiropyran and a high-molecular material with 4,4'-dihydroxybenzophenone. CONSTITUTION:A benzindolinothiopyran spiropyran compd. (A) of formula I, II or III (wherein R1 is a 1-20C alkyl; R2, R3, R4 and R5 are each H, a 1-6C alkyl, nitro, or etc.; R6, R7 and R8 are each H, a 1-5C alkyl, a 1-5C alkyl, etc.; R9 and R10 are each H, a 1-5C alkyl, a 1-5C alkoxy, etc.). is mixed with a high-molecular material (B) (e.g., polymethyl methacrylate) and 4,4'- dihydroxybenzophenone (C) in such an amount that each of the components A and C is used in a amount of pref. 10-60pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. component B, thus obtaining a photochromic photosensitive compsn. |
