PURPOSE:To measure the pressure of gas or a liquid, by utilizing a Bourdon tube and converting the displacement quantity of said tube to the change in oscillation frequency. CONSTITUTION:Since the displacing piece 2 of a Bourdon tube changes in its curvature corresponding to pressure, a coil 1 moves along the axis of the tube. By the movement of the coil 1, the coil 1 and the magnetic body 9 inserted in the bottom hole 7 of a winding core 6 move by a spring 11. The coupling degree of the magnetic body 9 and the coil 1 changes and inductance changes. Therefore, the resonance frequency of a variable frequency oscillator 15 having the coil 1 connected thereto changes. The output signal of a separate fixed frequency oscillator 16 and the output signal of the variable frequency oscillator 15 are mixed by a mixer 17 to take out a difference frequency signal and the frequency thereof is read to be displayed on a display device 18 as the function of the pressure applied to the Bourdon tube.
