PURPOSE:To improve rigidity of a coupling part, by a method wherein truss structure is formed at a coupling part of an oil pan to a transmission with a boss part for coupling and a boss part for fastening a cylinder block and a rib through which to intercouple the two boss parts. CONSTITUTION:A coupling part 3 for coupling a transmission is formed to the one end in a longitudinal direction of an oil pan 2. A coupling part 3 is formed in a semicircular shape, and a boss part 26 of coupling is formed to a lower peripheral edge 25. A boss part 27 for fastening, vertically extended through the coupling part 3 and adapted to fasten a cylinder block 1, is formed on both sides of the coupling part 3. A first rib part 28 through which to vertically obliquely intercouple the upper part of the boss part 27 for fastening and the boss part 26 for coupling is provided, and a horizontal second rib part 29, laterally coupling the first rib part 28, is formed. This constitution enables improvement of rigidity of the coupling part 3.
