PURPOSE:To aim at simplification in the structure of a suction system, by connecting a suction passage aggregate to an upstream end of a suction pipe, and interconnecting at least one of downstream ends of this suction passage aggregate selectively to the upstream end. CONSTITUTION:A suction passage aggregate 20 is connected to an upstream end of a suction pipe 12. There is provided with a valve device 30 which interconnects at least one downstream end of plural suction passages 26-28 of this suction passage aggregate 20 selectively to the upstream end. The valve device 30 is driven in response to engine speed of an internal combustion engine 10. With this constitution, even if a long suction passage is not installed there, plural volumetric efficiency peaks are securable, thus the structure of a suction system is simplifiable.
