PURPOSE:To prevent any crosstalke from occurring without supplying the first adjacent electrodes with current by a method wherein a large number of third electrodes held at a constant potential adjacent to the first electrodes comprising multiple channels are arranged. CONSTITUTION:When the second electrode 17 is irradiated with the accelerated phosphorescence emitted from the other surface 1b of an imaging plate 1 with a large number of third electrodes 18 arranged alternately with a large number of first electrodes 15 held at a constant potential such as a ground potential, an amorphous silicon 16 converts said accelerated phosphorescence into current to be outputted to the first electrode 15 immediately below the irradiation. At this time, the third electrodes 18 held at the ground potential are positioned between the large number of first electrodes 15 to be electrically isolated. Through these procedures, any current going to flow into the amorphous silicon 16 extending over the first electrodes 15 shall be grounded preventing any crosstalk from occurring.
