PURPOSE:To make it possible to allow viewing people to safely retire even through seawater flows into the viewing room due to an accident by providing an independent structure having a buoyancy with respect to water or seawater and being vertically movable, in the underwater viewing room. CONSTITUTION:If an underwater viewing window 2 is broken due to an accident so that a large amount of seawater flows into an underwater viewing room 1, a floating floor structure 3a produces a buoyancy and floats up as the water lever ascends. Meanwhile a hull 7 submerges until the volume 9a of the underwater viewing room 1 below the draft line 8b upon the accident becomes equal to the volume 9b of the hull 7 between the daft line 8b upon the accident and the normal draft line 8a before seawater flows into the viewing room.
