PURPOSE:To select and acquire a specific held call among plural simultaneous held calls by dialing a special dial number and the extension number of an independent telephone set where a call is held by using another independent telephone set in which an answer is to be made. CONSTITUTION:A main device 1 is equipped with (n) trunk lines and l independent telephone sets T1-Tl and an answer to an incoming call to one trunk line Li among L1-Ln in a trunk line interface part 2 is made by one telephone sets Tp among the independent telephone sets T1-Tl in an independent telephone set interface part 3. Then when the trunk lines Li and Lj are held at the same time, the predetermined special number and the extension number of the telephone set Tp where the call is held are dialed on another independent telephone set Ts and then a control circuit 41 controls a channel switch 5 according to the extension number and the trunk line number of the held trunk line Li because they are stored in the storage circuit 42 of a control circnit 4, thereby connecting the trunk line Li held by the telephone set Tp to the telephone set Ts. Consequently, the trunk line Li is acquired by the telephone set Ts.
