PURPOSE:To aim at simplifying the structure of a turntable for turning the direction of a vehicle when the vehicle enters in and exits from a garage or the like by providing such an arrangement that the turntable is turned by the self-running drive force of the vehicle and the turntable is locked and locked in association with the passage of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION:In such a condition that a vehicle is advanced so as to be moved into a garage through a turntable 24, when the vehicle is moved backward out of the garage onto the turntable 24, a lock plate 20 is pressed by one of the rear wheels on the its way. Accordingly, a lock lever 3 is released from a lock frame 12 through the intermediary of a front side look releasing piece 13 so that stopping rollers 1 are raised by the dead weight of the vehicle, and are locked so that the backward movement of the vehicle is ceased. In this condition, when drive rollers 9 are rotated by the self-running force of wheels 11, the turntable 24 is rotated through the intermediary of sprockets 15 and a chain 16, speed change gears 27 and the like, and therefore, after 180 deg. angle of turn, the lock lever 3 is released so as to set the stopping rollers in a horizontal posture, thereby the vehicle may comes out the garage.
