PURPOSE:To realize the fast reading of an original when the original is carried continuously, by supporting each of filters with a supporting member movable in a prescribed direction at different angles, and also providing the driving source of the supporting member. CONSTITUTION:The filters 14a, 14b, and 14c for every color and a driving coil 17 are fixed on the supporting member 13. The coil 17 forms the driving source 19 with a magnet 18. And the filter 14b in a middle position is arranged in parallel with the supporting member 13, and the upper and the lower filter 14a and 14c are arranged in a reverse direction to the filter 14b inclined by angle of theta. Therefore, the filters 14a-14c mounted on the supporting member 13 can be positioned selectively on the optical paths of reading light by operating the driving source 19. In other words, it is possible to read the same position of the original being carried continuously with every color filter, and to read the original at high speed.
