PURPOSE:To obtain a device to reduce hydrogen concentration in a reaction chamber and to promote dehydrogenating reaction, by at least partially constituting a partition wall of a reaction chamber packed with a dehydrogenating reaction catalyst made of a hydrogen permeable material and taking out formed hydrogen to the outside of the reaction chamber. CONSTITUTION:In a reaction device consisting of an inner pipe 1 and an outer pipe 2, a raw material is fed through a line 4 to a reaction chamber A packed with a dehydrogenating catalyst and a reaction product is taken out through a line 5. An inert gas is sent through a line 3 to an empty part B and extracted through a line 6. Since hydrogen formed in the reaction chamber A is permeated through a peripheral wall 1 made of a hydrogen permeable material and sent to the empty part B and taken out to the outside of the system, hydrogen concentration in the reaction chamber A is extremely reduced to promote dehydrogenating reaction. Pd metallic film, an alloy film of Pd and gold, silver, etc., inorganic porous film, etc., may be used as the hydrogen permeating material. |
