<p>PURPOSE:To permit continuous operation of filtration and to improve the efficiency thereof by disposing a cylindrical chamber disposed with filter media to a columnar shape and circular conical chamber for compressing slurry and wet cake, detecting the torque of a stirring shaft and discharging the cake. CONSTITUTION:A filter chamber is formed on the cylindrical chamber 1 and the circular conical chamber 2. The circular columnar filter media 12 and filter screw 15 are disposed to the cylindrical chamber 1. A compressing screw 16 is disposed to the chamber 2 and a cake discharging valve 3 is provided to the lower side at the end thereof. The slurry is filtered by the filter media 12 when the slurry is supplied from a supply port 4 into a housing chamber 13. The slurry leaves the cake on the surface and is discharged through a filtrate capturing part 14. The cake scraped by the screw 15 is compressed together with the slurry by the lower screw 16 and is discharged after torque detection of the stirring shaft 7. Since the filter part and the compressing part of the cake are separated, the filtration is continuously executed and the filtration efficiency is improved.</p> |
