<p>PURPOSE:To realize an unmanned turnably carrying of such as a long L-shaped angle steel, by feeding a long material longitudinally by means of roll groups having V-groove then turning said material onto a lateral feed conveyor and feeding laterally, thereafter transferring said material onto an inverting conveyor and turning. CONSTITUTION:A group of lateral feed rolls 3 are driven to feed a L-shaped angle steel W onto a V-groove of a roll 2 with two sides thereof directing obliquely upward. When the end of the angle steel W contacts with a stopper 100, a cylinder 44 operates to roll a L-shaped link 46 so as to lower a second roll body 22 in a roll group 3. Consequently, the angle steel W is supported only at one side and turns in L-shape. Then the angle steel W is carried in the direction B by means of a group of lateral feed conveyors 5 and passed to the holding sections of a group of inverting conveyors 7. When the angle steel W being carried by the inverting conveyor group 7 contacts with a conveyor group 8, it is inverted from an L-shape to an angular shape. With such arrangement, unmanned turnably carrying can be realized.</p> |
