PURPOSE:To certainly accommodate a paper sheet into a tray independently of the kind of the paper sheet and humidity environment, by allowing the top edge of an elastic piece to follow a paper feeding roller and be positioned inside an intermediate tray when the paper feeding roller revolves in the first direction and allowing the top edge to be positioned outside the tray when the roller revolves in the second direction. CONSTITUTION:An elastic piece 101 is fixed integrally onto the wall surface 59a of an intermediate tray by a bracket 102, and the top edge part 101a contacts a paper feeding roller 78, and when said roller 78 revolves clockwise, the top edge part 101a follows to said revolution and is positioned inside the wall surfaces 59a of the intermediate tray. When the roller 78 revolves counterclockwise, the top edge part 101a follows to said revolution and is positioned outside the wall surfaces 59a of the intermediate tray. When a paper sheet is accommodated into the intermediate tray, said paper sheet is inserted into between the roller 78 and the top edge 101a of the elastic piece 101 which contacts the roller 78, and pressed onto the roller 78 by the springy force of the elastic piece 101 and transported. At this time, the top edge part 101a of the elastic piece 101 is positioned inside the wall surface 59a of the intermediate tray, and the paper sheet can be certainly sent into the intermediate tray 59, including the rear edge. |
