PURPOSE:To maintain the resolution of recording and enable a large magnetic force to be obtained at an end part (a part for attracting a magnetic toner) of a magnetic body, by providing a recording head with a magnetic member for attracting a conductive magnetic toner on an image carrier by magnetic lines of force to form an electric circuit part and a plurality of electrodes or the like for selectively applying a voltage to the toner magnetically attracted. CONSTITUTION:By magnetic forces generated by barium-ferrite permanent magnets 20, 21, a conductive magnetic toner 24 electrostatically attracted onto a sheet 11 previously electrified is moved to a position beneath the first and second high-permeability magnetic bodies 15, 17, and is attracted onto tip parts of the bodies 15, 17 in the form of a brush, thereby forming an electric Circuit part 24'. When a pulsed voltage is applied to a sheet 11 by a pulse-driving circuit 22 through the electric circuit part 24' constituted of gold wires 23..., gold electrodes 16... and the toner 24, a part of the uniformly electrified sheet 11 is deprived of electrostatic charges, so that the toner 24 electrostatically attracted loses the attracting force, and is released by the magnetic forces, whereby a uniform record is obtained on the sheet 11. |
