<p>PURPOSE:To transfer to a high serch mode without causing a data read disable period by driving a rotary drum stepwise in response to the high speed search command during reproduction at a high speed, and transferring the magnetic tape speed so as to bring the relative speed to be constant. CONSTITUTION:A gate circuit 19 opened by a control section 14 bringing the reproducing state into the fast state, an adder/subtraction circuit 21 is brought into the operating state, fast feed preset read out of a preset memory 15 by an address from the control section 14 is latched in the circuit 16. Then the reproducing preset is incremented by one in the latch circuit 22 via the circuit 21 and the drum motor 26 latched in the circuit 22 is increased for its speed at a 1st stage. The reel motor 31 is controlled by the control section 14 detecting the speed via the frequency generator 29 to control the relative speed of the magnetic tape to the rotary drum constant. The repetition above is executed till the content of the circuit 9 is coincident with the circuit 22 and the high speed search transferring is applied without causing a data disable period.</p> |
