PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition with reduced combustibility without impairing electrical properties and heat resistance, outstanding in self- extinguishability, suitable as an insulating oil for electrical equipment, by incorporating an organopolysiloxane with specified amount of an organic solvent- soluble platinum compound, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating (A) 100pts.wt. of an organopolysiloxane of formula [R is (substituted)monovalent hydrocarbon (e.g., methyl, ethyl), 0.1-30mol% of which is vinyl group; a is 1.8-2.3] with (B) 0.001-0.1pt.wt. on a platinum basis, of an organic solvent- soluble platinum compound (e.g., chloroplatinic acid) and furthermore, preferably, (C) 10-50pts.wt. of a chlorofluorohydrocarbon oil (e.g., chlorotrifluoropolymer).
