PURPOSE:To reduce and regulate hot-water temperature in a bathtub automatically so as to keep a low temperature condition in accordance with the choice of a bathing person when the detecting value of a water temperature detector is higher than the set value of a proper temperature setter, by a method wherein the discharging amount of hot-water in a bathtub and the new feeding amount of supplying water, which are necessary to optimize a hot-water temperature in the tub and secure a given amount of hot-water in the bathtub, are operated by a controller based on the detecting values of a bathtub water temperature detector and a supplying water temperature detector to control the opening and closing of a water discharging pulg. CONSTITUTION:When the detecting value of a bathtub water temperature detector 12 is higher than the set value of a proper temperature setter 11, a controller 21 operates the necessary amount of heat in the bathtub, which is under an assumption that a water temperature in the tub is optimized and a given amount of water is secured in the tub, based on the detecting values of the bathtub water temperature detector 12 and a cold water temperature detactor 17, further, the controller operates the amount of discharging of water in the tub and the new feeding amount of supplying water, which are necessary to obtain the amount of heat newly in the tub. The opening and closing of a water discharging plug 18 and the driving of a cold water supplying valve 15 are controlled based on the results of abovedescribed operations.
