PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of color shear by inserting a transplate with thickness for correcting optical length so that the effective value of image forming optical path for respective color separation beams is made equal to a distance between an original setting face and a prescribed image forming face into the image forming optical path in accordance with the insertion of respective color difference filters. CONSTITUTION:An image slit with width X on an original face 21 forms a slit with width X on an image face 23 of a photosensitive face 21 by a convergent light transmission array (SLA) 22. When the length of the SLA in the optical axis direction is Z0, the distance between the original face 21 and the image face 23, i.e. conjugate length, is TC, the distance between the original face 21 and the incident face of the SLA 22 and the distance between the projecting face of the SLA 22 and the image face 23 are equal length l0 and the value is (Tc-Z0)/2. Parallel glass plates 24, 25 with t/2 thickness are inserted into an optical path between the original face 21 and the incident face of the SLA 22 and an optical path between the projecting face of the SLA 22 and the image face 23 rectangularly to the optical axis. Since respective separated colors are correctedly focused on the image forming face, a color copy excellent in resolution and sharpness and free from color shear can be obtained.
