PURPOSE:To prevent food from being unevenly heated, and to reduce noise caused by vibration, by providing heaters which are longer than the width of hot air outlets in air passages which connect fans to the outlets respectively, as well as to provide multiblade fans of which length is nearly equal to the width of air outlets, confronting the air outlets of which length is nearly equal to the width of shelf plats provided at the upper and the lower parts of an oven. CONSTITUTION:Heaters 25, 30 of which length of heating parts is equal to or longer than the width of air outlets 7, 8 are provided in air passages 24, 29 so as to be close to the air outlets 7, 8. Electric power is supplied to both upper heater 25 and lower heater 30, and fan drive units are energized. Then the air flows forced by multiblade fans 20, 26 are diffused into an oven 1 from the upper and the lower outlets 7, 8 provided on the rear plate of an oven after they are heated by the upper heater 25 and the lower heater 30, thus heating pieces of food 31 placed on shelf plates 10, 11 provided inside the oven. The width of the upper and the lower air outlets 7, 8 provided on the rear plate '1a' of an oven are determined corresponding to the width of shelf plates 10, 11 so that the hot air diffused from the air outlets 7, 8 is supplied to the food 31 at the equal temperature and at the same velocity. Accordingly the food can be heated and a cooked evenly without making undone parts in it.
