PURPOSE:To enable a deflection of a raster distortion to be corrected by asymmetrically arranging a magnetic substance correcting the raster distortion or the vicimity of the front part of a cathode-ray tube screen side of a deflection coil of the second outer magnetic field device. CONSTITUTION:A pair, in left and right, of magnetic substances 2 and 3 are arranged as the second magnetic field distribution correction means in the vicinity of an aperture part in a cathode-ray tube screen side of a bobbin 1 of a deflection device. The pair of magnetic substances 2 and 3, for instance, has an symmetrical shape different in size. In this case, a vertical deflection magnetic field distribution generated from a vertical deflection coil of a deflection device made a magnetic field distribution concentration in asymmetric shape in left and right by forming a size of magnetic substances 2 and 3 as 2<3. The left and right asymmetric magnetic field distribution shape exists in the direction in which a deformation of a raster distortion by a vertical component of an earth magnetism is eliminated. This enables an excellent image plane to be obtained with the raster distortion corrected.
