PURPOSE:To dispense with ball housing grooves, by interposing a plurality of balls between the first ring and the second ring consisting of two parts, and connecting inseparably each other the two divided parts of the second ring. CONSTITUTION:A double row ball bearing 26 is comprised of an outer ring 42 as the first ring, two inner rings 30, 40 as the second ring, a plurality of balls 44, 44,..., S-shaped retainers 45, 55, and a connecting ring 46 as a connecting means. Thus, the balls 44, 44,... are interposed between the raceway surfaces 471, 472 of the outer ring 42 and the raceway surfaces 481, 482 of the inner rings 30, 40. Accordingly, by fitting the connecting ring 46 in the inner rings 30, 40 so as to bestride two inner rings 30, 40, end connecting inseparably each other the two inner rings 30, 40 with the connecting ring 46, the ball housing grooves on the inner and outer rings become unnecessary.
