PURPOSE:To provide a film having excellent formability, moisture absorption and flexibility, giving good feeling and produced by forming a gelatin-containing thermoplastic resin, wherein at least a part of said gelatin is continuously extended between one surface and the other surface of the produced film. CONSTITUTION:(A) A thermoplastic resin compound composed of a thermoplastic resin (e.g. vinyl chloride resin, ABS, polyethylene, etc.), a plasticizer, a stabilizer, etc., is compounded with (B) 3-30wt.% gelatin which is a water-soluble induced protein produced by the hot-water treatment of collagen. The mixture is kneaded under heating and the obtained molding material is formed to a film with an inflation molding machine to obtain the objective film 3 composed of a thermo plastic resin 1 containing gelatin 2. At least a part of the gelatin 2 is continuous ly extended between one surface and the other surface of the film 3.
