PURPOSE:To make the time of ignition shorter and eliminate a fluctuation in the temperature at a vaporization surface during heating-up to improve the ignition performance by mounting a plateshaped heater on the outer wall of the vaporization surface of a vaporization cylinder opposite to a nozzle and providing the vaporization cylinder with this wall sections so as to arrange on both sides of the heater. CONSTITUTION:The fuel that is sent from an oil fuel supplying device is jetted out into vaporization cylinder 1a from a nozzle 3 and the air for combustion that is sent from an air conveying device is jetted out into the vaporization cylinder 1a from a throat 4 through an air supply hose. On the other hand because the vaporization surface 1a' of the cylinder 1a has thin wall sections 11 formed on both ends in its circumferential direction, the heat added to the surface 1a' by a heater 2a is dispersed in the circumferential direction, thereby the heat transfer can be suppressed to minimum so that the temperature rises rapidly and it becomes possible to ignite in a short time. Further, the temperature of the surface 1a' is constant over the whole area because of the suppression of heat dispersion. With this arrangement, the vaporization surface can be heated concentratedly and, further the spread of heat to the area other than vaporization surface can be kept to minimum and it is possible to ignite in a short time.
