PURPOSE:To solidify and mold a powder material with high efficiency and to improve the quality of a molding by putting the powder material into a container, then heating the container successively while the container is exposed to a vacuum atmosphere and subjecting the material to pressurized molding as it is. CONSTITUTION:The powder material 1 to be treated such as metal powder or ceramic powder is supplied from a vessel 2 provided with a discharge pump 18 into a vacuum vessel 16. The powder material 1 flowing down from an outlet 3 of the vessel 2 is conveyed by a moving belt 4 moving at a prescribed speed in the vessel 16 and is heated an route by a heater 5. The heated material 1' is loaded into containers 9, 10 which are kept at a prescribed temp. by heaters 8, 11 and are changeable in position by means of a guide 7. The material 1' is thereafter compacted by a stem 12 of a press mechanism 15, by which said material is solidified and molded. |
