PREPARATION OF CONTACT LENS STORAGE SOLUTION

PURPOSE:To simply prepare a safe washing/storing solution even if city water or underground water is used by adding at least a metal sealing agent to water to be used for the medium of the storing solution to treat the water and using a porous film having fine hole diameters practically interrupting grains with >=0.4mum grain size to filter the treated water. CONSTITUTION:The titled preparation is constituted of a process for adding at least the metal sealing agent to water to be used for the medium of the contact lens storing solution to treat the water and a process for filtering the treated water by means of the porous film having fine hole diameters practically interrupting grains with >=0.4mum grain size. In an example, a polyolefine porous hollow string 28 film is used as the porous film and citric acid/its salt is used as the metal sealing agent. Consequently, the microorganisms or colloid in the solution can be almost removed and the safe washing/storing solution can be prepared.
