PURPOSE:To always hold a good contact state between the recording electrode of a printing recording head and a printing recording medium, by a method wherein the small chambers opened to the leading end part of the printing recording head so as to face to the printing recording medium are provided to the front and back surfaces of the printing recording head so as to form a flow passage for carrying air along the surface of the electrode, and printing recording is performed while air is introduced into the flow passage from an air introducing port. CONSTITUTION:Clean air compression chambers 5 being small chambers constituted of partition walls 3 and wall plates 6 are provided at the leading end part of a needle printing electrode 1, and arranged to the front and back surfaces of an electrode printing head so as to form a flow passage 4 between the partition walls 3 and the needle electrode. The clean air introduced from a clean air introducing port 2 flows along the surface of the electrode in the flow passage 4 to enter the clean air compression chambers 5. The atmospheric pressure of the clean air compression chambers is held to a compressed state by 0.5 atm or less higher than the open air and the clean air is injected to the outside of the small chambers from the gaps provided between the wall plates 6 and a printing recording medium 7. By this method, the foreign matter such as the dust on the surface of the printing recording medium is carried by the air introduced into the small chambers to be discharged from the small chambers. |
