PURPOSE:To safely and surely process the cut waste of optical fibers by moving a movable holding board in a direction rectangular to a cutting direction. CONSTITUTION:A clamping means grasping the cut waste of optical fibers is jumped up at the time of ending the cutting of cores, and if the waste is stuck to the clamping means, it is abutted on a cut waste removing means 15 because the means 15 is positioned on the upper part of it and dropped on an elastic member 17B. Then the cut waste is moved under the state mounted on the member 17B by the moving action of the movable holding board 12 along the core direction, and when it is moved by a prescribed distance, the cut waste engaged with the means 15 is dropped on a waste stock by the tare of the means 15. Thus, the post-processing of the cut waste can be safely and surely executed without manual operation. |
