PURPOSE:To transfer plural signal charges without limiting a transfer capacity by the area of an electrode, by providing a charge transfer part and a pulse generating part which generates a pulse which transfers the charge different from that of the charge transfer part in a direction corresponding to each kind of the charges. CONSTITUTION:A first and a second shift registers 1-5 and 1-6 to which shift directions of shift pulses are different respectively are provided at a pulse generating part 1-4, and a waveform on which respective outputs of them are added is impressed on the charge transfer part. Therefore, it is possible to transfer a first and a second signal charges to a left and a right directions respectively. In such a way, the signal charges of different kinds under different electrodes in the transferring charge transfer part are transferred in different directions with different directional transfer pulses respectively without being limited by the area of the electrode.
