PURPOSE:To precisely adjust the direction of a shaft by integrally forming the base placing the shaft for guiding a magnetic head carrier and a shaft pressing member. CONSTITUTION:The base stand 4 placing a shaft and the shaft pressing member 17 combining with the upper part of the base stand 14 at its both ends are integrally formed as a shaft fixing member. The pressing member 17 is not removed even if a screw 21 is loosened and a shaft 7 can be pressed continuously. And yet even if the loosening of the screw 21 be slight the whole shaft pressing member 17 is moved in the state of just as temporarily fixing the shaft 7 on the shaft pressing member 17 and the relative position to the base plate 5 of the shaft 7 can be changed. The fixing position of the shaft can thus be adjusted easily.
