The invention relates to a device intended for sail boats, enabling in these the lateral and longitudinal movement of the entire rigging and therefore of the plane of the sail system, so as to allow an optimum speed for any sailing trim and heading into the wind (close-hauled) as close as possible to the eye of the wind. It consists of a system of three rails 2 serving to link the hulls, and a system of rigidly-connected slides (trolleys) 1 which move on these rails and which carry the rigging in its entirety. This system of rigidly-connected slides (trolleys) may be considered as being a single-hull sail boat deck equipped below with slides (trolleys) moving on rails fixed to the linkage arms of a single-hull boat. The device according to the invention is more particularly intended for equipping competition sail boats. <IMAGE>
