PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of an apparatus and to prevent toner on the inside and outside of the apparatus from being contaminated by forming a means for automatically pressing a cleaning member against a part close to the lower edge of a waste toner stock aperture and closing the aperture under the unloaded state of a cleaning device from a photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:The free length of a cleaning blade pressing spring 5 is expanded as compared to the ordinary one, and when the cleaning device is loaded/ unloaded to/from a photosensitive drum, the tip of a blade 6 is abutted upon the tip of a seal 7 with about 0-1mm gap and a waste toner stock 3 is almost sealed. When a gap between the blade 6 and the seal 7 is slight, toner inserted into the gap acts as seal and the inner toner can be prevented from being dropped. In addition to the cleaning blade, a cleaning brush can be also adopted as a cleaning member. Consequently, the cleaning device prevented from the drop and dispersion of waste toner from the aperture can be obtained. |
