PURPOSE:To attain natural sound recording while suppressing the undesired voice of operator by providing an operator detection circuit detecting the presence of the operator and a gain control circuit attenuating the collected signal when the operator makes an utterance. CONSTITUTION:When the operator looks into the view finder for the photograph and makes utterance while photographing an object, the sound pressure exerted to an operator microphone 4 is greater than that exerted to the sound collection microphone 2. Thus, the fact that sound collection signal level detected by signal level detection circuit 50 and weighted by a weighting circuit 52 is smaller than the operator signal level detected by the operator signal level detection circuit 51 is detected by a comparator 53 and the result of decision is sent to the gain control circuit 6. The gain control circuit 6 throws a switch 61 to the position of terminal B to send the output of the microphone 2 to the output terminal 7 through an attenuator 60. When the operator makes an utterance in this way, the output signal of the sound collection microphone is outputted with attenuation. |
