PURPOSE:To obtain a scrubbing agent containing calcite having a specific particle size composition, by grinding glacial limestone and carrying out air separation or by suspending the ground material in water and drying the supernatant liquid. CONSTITUTION:A scrubbing agent containing calcite which is extracted from glacial limestone and has a composition of 10.0-60.0%, 80-100Me and 15.0-35.0%, 100-150Me in a particle size distribution of 32Me->=200Me. The scrubbing agent is obtained by grinding glacial limestone, carrying out air separation and separating far blown calcite or suspending the ground material in water, allowing the suspension to stand and drying calcite which remains in the supernatant liquid since the calcite is slightly water soluble, fine and has low specific gravity. By using the scrubbing agent, a face washing agent having more excellent massaging effects and face cleaning effects without damaging the skin can be obtained. |
