The food processor has an intermediate housing (2) connected with a quick release coupling to the work container (4) with an intermediate shaft (26). A safety device (74,82, 100) which prevents operation of the device unless the lid is on the work container, and a coupling device (32) are contained within the intermediate housing, and the work tool (38) is coupled to the intermediate shaft (26) by a quick-release fastening. A lower central housing has an embouchure (18) and stretches up on either side of the container, the embouchure having a latch (120) locking with a latch on the container. It is formed as a hand grip for the centre part. The latches are arranged around the zone of the operating part of the cover working the safety device. |
