PURPOSE:To facilitate the positioning of a paint masking jig toward a mud guard by forming a groove for fitting a paint masking jig at the boundary area between a mud guard fixing base and a mud receiving part. CONSTITUTION:A mud guard 1 has a nearly half circular groove 7 formed across the full length of the boundary area between a mud receiving part 4 and a standing piece 3 which serves as a paint color parting line. Meanwhile, a paint masking jig 8 has a projecting strip 10 bent and formed like nearly a L-letter according to the shape of the groove, connected to the end portion of a masking sheet 9 cut in a size enough to completely cover the mud receiving part 4. The projecting strip 10 of the paint masking jig 8 is fitted to the groove 7 so that the jig 8 can be accurately positioned to the mud guard.
