PURPOSE:To restrain the relative rotation of gears and shafts in the above- captioned transmission having a shuttle device in a travelling system transmission by keeping two-throw gears provided on a tubular shaft fitted on a PTO system transmitting shaft always in engagement with a first back gear of a travelling system main shaft and a second back gear of a travelling system transmitting shaft. CONSTITUTION:The operation of an engine 15 is transmitted to a PTO system transmitting shaft 18 and also to a travelling system main shaft 25 through a PTO system main shaft 17. When a clutch 45 is operated to couple a travelling system main shaft 17 with a travelling system transmitting shaft 26, a tractor advances. Also, when said main shaft 17 is coupled with a second back gear 37 by the clutch 45, power is transmitted through a first back gear 35, two-throw gears 47, 48 and the second back gear 37 and the tractor retreats. Then a PTO system transmitting shaft 18 and two-throw gears 47, 48 are rotated in the same direction to reduce the relative rotation between both shaft and gears. Thus, the relative rotation between shaft and gears can be restrained.
