PURPOSE:To produce the titled ring having excellent high-temperature stability and high-temperature mechanical strength even under high-speed operation condition and high abrasion resistance and frictional resistance even under high load, by forming a molded article from an all aromatic polyimide resin added with a filler and shaping the article in the form of a ring by cutting work. CONSTITUTION:An all aromatic polyimide resin is added with a filler, preferably graphite, fluororesin powder, molybdenum disulfide, glass fiber or metal fiber and formed to a cylinder under high temperature and pressure. The cylinder is shaped to a ring having a prescribed form by cutting work to obtain the objective ring. |
