摘要 PURPOSE:To perform highly accurate measurement, by making it possible to form a count pulse at a predetermined interval even when there is phase shift between detection signals without being affected by the characteristics of a circuit constitutional element such as a resistor. CONSTITUTION:Each detection signal a(b) is generated while the corresponding member is relatively moved at a constant speed. Whereupon, an operation circuit 20 creates a comparing signal VC from each generated detection signal and the operation factor corresponding to an angle phi of interpolation. Subsequently, a processing circuit 51 compares the signal VC with the reference signal VS corresponding to the angle phiof interpolation to generate the intermediate pulse made synchronous to a clock pulse and applies predetermined processing to the intermediate pulse to form and output a count pulse e(f). A reference signal correction circuit 70 rewrites the signal VS corresponding to the angle phi of interpolation so that the forming interval of the count pulse e(f) formed and outputted while the corresponding member is relatively moved at a constant speed can be brought to a definite value. In a count pulse generating circuit 40, the signal VS, which is allowed to correspond to each angle phi of interpolation and rewitten and corrected, and the operation factor are used to form a count pulse at a definite interval.
